This flower pendant is made very similarly to how a hollow bead is made. I cut out the flower shape and a bail from a sheet of silver. Alternating between doming with a dapping block and annealing, I was able to form most of the flower. Using cone-shaped pliers, I curled all of the petals and formed the bail. Then I sanded and polished before soldering the bail onto the top. Next, I had to polish tumble it to shine up all the crevasses. I added a little patina around the middle to give more depth to the flower.
It will be finished when you select either a 16 or 18-inch chain. From the top of the bail to the bottom petals measures 13mm.
